A Review on Trifo Ironpie M6+
To showcase even more versatility on this blog and my writing prowess today I am going to be giving a review on the Trifo Ironpie M6+ available on amazon and probably other places. It is in its essence a vacuum cleaner which works on it's own so as to take out the human effort element from the picture. It can also be used for washing floors due to its water tank and cleaning attachment. It retails for Rs. 29,900 as of 7th August 2020 on Amazon.
This going to be a long review so if you want a quick answer I would say buy it if you have the extra money or if you really hate cleaning by yourself, regardless you will still have to give it your attention and monitor it.
Here we are, in the future, a robot vacuum cleaner that can detect its path and clean everything in sight. Until one day it decided to use its powers for evil, wait no this is a review not the start to a transformer movie. Anyway, on its premise its probably revolutionary. It can clean and wash any surface it is put on.
It can reduce the amount people spend on janitors and maids by just buying this. Price is bit but an investment which will pay itself in the future. I'm shocked how it hasn't sold out yet. Well I can tell you why.
Because of the lockdown, cleaning services were not allowed in apartment and building complexes, so in my house my family and I had to take up the task to clean the house. And it was hell. I have so much respect for the people who do this everyday and that too multiple times, but I just couldn't. I know it sounds dramatic but with everything that was going on I just CBA to clean my house every second day. So with all the whining from my brother and I, we managed to force our parents to find a solution which was this little man.
When it arrived it not only gave us the opportunity to let out a sigh of relief, but because it was in essence a luxury purchase, it made us feel boujee. It was a great feeling until we started to use it.
I will give credit where credit is due, it cleaned the house way better than my brother and I ever could. BUT, the biggest and only problem with it is that it is so dumb. It is programmed to stop when obstructed but it doesn't try to go around it, it just leaves it entirely. So if you have furniture in a room, which everyone does, there will be a lot of places where it wont even attempt to reach. A way to combat it is by using the application that can be downloaded on any smart phone which can be used to control it. Although if you're not close to your Wi-Fi even that will be impossible. Also every time you turn it on it follows a different technique of cleaning, sometimes diagonal, sometimes vertical and sometimes horizontal, it becomes so unpredictable. If you're willing to put in the work to ensure you can guide it then this product is for you, but we brought the product so that we can focus on other stuff rather than this.
With the advancements being made in A.I.'s, its just a matter of time before an Amazon or Apple know how to integrate Alexa or Siri into a robot vacuum cleaner which can work on its own. Or maybe a way they can implement the sonar detectors they use in ships to navigate a path and avoid obstacles before they even come in contact with them. Or maybe there does something like this that already exists but is probably very expensive, all I can say is that, "This ain't it chief."
Hope you find this review useful and this is just the first of many more reviews I will do on this blog.
