Fall Guys : The Review
In a world where gaming companies spend more and more time and money every year to make games with great gameplay and game graphics and deep storylines and hard challenges to ensure people buy their games and have fun, a game which looks so basic is taking over the world.
Fall guys is a battle royal game mode where the battle takes place in the form of challenges and courses that differ in difficulty depending on how many players remain. It includes single player as well as team challenges, however at the end only one winner is crowned. It came out just a week back but because of its simplicity and fun factor, it is the most hyped game for this month.
Recently, the gaming world has really given a lot of importance to battle royal games which depends on how good you are at a game rather than how much money you put into the game. The pay to win era is coming to an end and the skill is being rewarded. This game follows that principle very strongly. The game retails for about 1 thousand, however if you are a PS plus member like me, the game is free, as a part of the 2 free games a month. Although, even for its price, its extremely amazing.
The game is what everyone wants, its simple and effective, doesn't try too hard and its dependent on quite a bit of luck and nice/good your opponents are. Also the challenges could be considered as tough by some but not impossible to complete. A problem would arise because of its repetitiveness but it's only season one. So one would assume that when seasons change, the courses will change too or maybe they wont but for now its the perfect thing to do whilst waiting for this whole Covid situation to end. Also its really fun with your friends because they can play in same matches as you but you still get to compete with them. And with content creators also picking up this game, it looks like the start to something great.
Many other games did get a let of hype too, like Apex Legends, Animal Crossing and PUBG maybe, but they couldn't deal as well as Fortnite did the test of time but maybe Fall Guys could be the one, maybe it won't.
