Basic Koalafications #2

Yes, yes I know, let me first address the elephant in the room. I haven't uploaded in a while. I'm Sorry okay? but I haven't seen any news that I have really found interesting and like I said before I don't want to only be reporting sports news, at least for now. Also, I have been really busy with other stuff that I wanted to do before everything restarts but I promise to find a way to balance it all.

Now back to the matter at hand, in todays edition of Basic Koalafications we are going to be talking about another proverb that is very useful when applied to your own life. Something I picked by myself but I do want to take your suggestions, so as soon this post goes live I'll put up a story on my Instagram @underkoalafied and take some of your suggestions.

Learn to walk before you run

A phrase/proverb finding its origin from back in the 15th century. Taking its literal meaning suggests that a child first learns to walk and once comfortable attempts to learn to run.
What does it actually try to imply? It's trying to tell us, that when we want to achieve a major milestone in life you will not be able to do it instantly or easily. But, if you take your time, take smaller steps and plan out the way you would like to achieve it, you will do it. Sometimes the goals we set for ourselves might be a little too out there and might find it nearly impossible to achieve. But another saying I have heard that kind of works with this is " When climbing a mountain, don't look at how much you have completed or how much you have left to complete, just look down and focus on where you are currently and before you know it, you will be at the top."
Every success story, begins with someone who has nothing but the ability and will to achieve more. Achieving eventual success after years of smaller successes and failures, which you could say is like how when you try to walk, you crawl first, then get your first steps and yes you may fall multiple times but you always get back up and try again till one day you're up and running like its nothing.
In your workplace, you climb up the ranks with promotions given to you because of your hard work. In sports, you play hard in practice or work out harder separately and when given the opportunity you take it with both hands and prove your self worth.
Real life is so much different than the ideal one we all keep in our heads. Sometimes you may not achieve said things even though you feel you might deserve it more than the one who did get it. And in that time I say we work harder and be content with how far we got by ourselves and how just a little bit more and we may finally get what we deserve.
